Awards
1. Suven Life Sciences Pharma award for best poster presentation by application (Cash price 2000/-, memento, and certificate)
2. Dr. G.M. Taori memorial award for best oral presentation by application (Cash price 2000/-, memento, and certificate)
Both the awards are for research scholars with an age limit of 30 years. The participant must be a life member of SNCI or annual member (same year) of SNCI.
3. Shri Akundi Narayana Murty Memorial medal for early career scientists by application(Medal and a citation)
This award acknowledges persons who have made excellent contributions to neurochemistry/neuroscience research at the Post-doc level or a faculty (applicant must be SNCIlife member with an age limit below 40 years).
4. Dr. B. Ramamurthy Oration Award: by nomination (for Senior Medical practitioners)
This Award honors medical professionals from various fields of neurochemistry/neuroscience/neurology/ neurosurgery/neuro-physician etc., who are contributed to the research and academics (Nominee must be the SNCI life member).
5. Prof. K. Subba Rao Oration Award by nomination (for Senior scientists)
This award honours SNCI life members who have made outstanding contributions to neurochemistry/neuroscience research and outreach at the University or at the research institute level.
6. Life Time Achievement Award of SNCI (nomination by the EC and nominee must be SNCI life member)
This award, our highest accolade, honours a Professor or scientists who did innovative and pioneering discoveries in neurochemistry/ neuroscience research, outreach, and educating about neuroscience through activities such as organizing conferences, workshops, knowledge translation activities like scientific outreach for the communities, etc. typically at the university, or a research institute level. While mentoring a good number of Ph.Ds./ Post Docs and younger scientists in his/her carrier.
